Listen-Observe-Understand-Empathy-Respond Professionally
L.O.U.D.E.R. was designed to EMPOWER professionals with REAL skills and the awareness to manage difficult situations while remaining safe facilitating the de-escalation of a person’s behavior during a crisis. Ultimately avoiding conflict. The course covers strategies for identifying and understanding:
Identifying behaviors and emotions
Human factors
The emotional intersection
Stress and the communication process.
Establishing an effective communication climate
The conscious mindset
Situational awareness / Critical thinking
The training incorporates classroom-facilitated instruction, video analysis, and scenario-based training to reinforce the concepts and principles learned in the course.
We have trained over ten thousand students from different professions in our signature L.O.U.D.E.R. De-escalation Strategies course since 2021 and it is currently being taught to students at MASSBAY Community College in Wellesley Massachusetts as part of the behavioral health studies curriculum.
Active Shooter & Active Threat Response Training
Active threat events occur from time to time. These events unfortunately will continue to happen in our society. These events leave both physical and emotional trauma. The importance of being prepared is essential to survive an active threat event. We offer Active Threat Response Training designed to EMPOWER organizations with the knowledge, personal awareness and preparation needed to survive an active threat.
Our presentation focuses on EMPOWERING organizations/communities on the importance of developing a conscious mindset. We do not focus on statistics during our presentations but instead focus on understanding the three things a person needs to commit acts of violence (Desire, Ability, and Opportunity). We really cannot do anything about the desire, and the ability but we can minimize opportunity by developing a conscious mindset.
